The full day workshop activities will all take place at Arena Theatre Wolverhampton.

10am – 11am: Handprint Theatre, warm-up activities

11am – 1pm: Handprint Theatre “The Great Escape” performance and workshop

Handprint Theatre creates projects which are led by Deaf and hearing performers together, using clowning, physical theatre, British Sign Language and everything else they can find, to inspire new collaborative performances ‘making the boring bizarre’!

The Great Escape (ish!) Performance
Time for an adventure… or misadventure! Our characters try to escape the concrete jungle of the city and head for the sun, shame that they are not built for the great outdoors!

A family show using clowning, visual storytelling and a little bit of madness!

Join us in our family workshops to try out some drama skills, meet new people, dress up and the chance to be a bit silly!  This is an opportunity to create some new stories, and play with the different visual ways we can tell them.

Join us, to follow your adventure!

1pm – 2pm: Lunch BreakChildren will be supervised by Handprint Theatre staff at lunchtime in Arena Theatre, however we DO NOT provide lunches or drinks – please bring a packed lunch and drink to give to your child.
