Our vision
Our vision is that every deaf child is given equal opportunities in life, is free from discrimination and grows up proud of their deafness, language, culture and community.
Our mission
1. To give deaf parents the opportunity to discuss issues relating to being a parent of a deaf child with other deaf parents.
2. To enable deaf children to come together and be able to socialise and play and communicate in British Sign Language.
3. To influence decision makers in order to achieve the best life outcomes for all deaf children.
4. To give all parents of deaf children greater knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their child’s education and future life.
i am a Kenyan parent and me and other parents for deaf children have formed a community based organization and are stationed in Mombasa county, Kenya. your vision and mission are same as ours.
my request is that i want to know if it is possible to exchange ideas online for the betterment of our children. we may not be in a better position to help you with ideas since it is a young group but i can tell that you can help a great deal
