On Saturday 23rd April 2016, 12 families from Manchester, Sunderland, Leeds and Wolverhampton met up at the beautiful Nostell Priory National Trust for the day. The children all excitedly explored the garden and parklands. Some explored further by walking, cycling or scootering around the surroundings. While the kids were all busy, parents grabbed the chance to discuss all things related to being a deaf parent of a deaf child, sharing educational tips, stories and experiences!
The day was such a great success, and will happen again next year on Saturday 22nd April 2017, save the date!
