New Tennis Coaching for Deaf Children Every Month!

deaf_parents_deaf_children_tennis_2012_coaching by a gb starWe’re excited to announce that new monthly tennis coaching for deaf children will start at the Gosling Sports Park for all deaf kids aged 3-14 from 10am – 12pm on Saturday March 16th.

These sessions will be coached by both deaf and hearing coaches. All kids will be put into groups according to age and ability. Please ensure all kids are changed in comfortable clothes and sports trainers ready to start at 10am.

The first three session dates are Saturdays March 16th, April 27th and May 4th (National Deaf Championships Weekend). The other months will be confirmed soon.

This has been organised by Deaf Parents Deaf Children, in partnership with the British Deaf Tennis Association (BDTA), and the Gosling Tennis Centre. These sessions aim to increase the opportunities across all areas of disability for all ages. The sessions are set up for players who are trying tennis for the first time in a social environment through to players looking to play more regularly and wanting to compete.
